Oorja Offers A Complete Solution

Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC)

The customer pays for the installation of the solar water pumping system under the EPC model, hence the asset belongs to the customer. The ownership is transferred to the user upon payment of capital. The consumer makes the upfront payment for the assets, installation, and commissioning. In this model, consumers own the system, fund it, and consume the energy/water generated, so the consumer is responsible for the risks associated with the operation, management, and maintenance of the system. Often the consumer finances this through bank funding. However, in this model, the owner has the maximum risk.

Fixed Monthly Installments (FMI)

In the FMI model, the customer does not have to make the entire payment upfront, as is required in the EPC model. The FMI model requires the client to pay for the solar water pump in equal monthly installments over a set period of time. Initially, Oorja will have the ownership (title) of the system. Following full payment of the system cost, including any applicable service charge, complete ownership is passed to the consumer.
