Amit started his career with Aga Khan Foundation and spent three years within their water and sanitation team in eastern Uttar Pradesh. He belongs to Basti and has seen first-hand the challenges in farmers’ lives for irrigation, which motivated him to join Oorja. Amit has an MA in Sociology from DDU University Gorakhpur.
